The Boardwalk opens for the season on May 1st and will close in late
November. Volunteers are always
needed to scrape and re-paint the benches and maintain interpretative station
rails. Each of the 509 sections has to be checked to make sure that all
deck boards and railings are safe and secure. We are checking all
sections to make sure that they are level in order to be ADA
compliant. There is much to do, and you can be part of it.
If you would like to help maintain the Boardwalk during the 2013 season
please contact Boardwalk Maintenance Leader Phil Locke at firstname.lastname@example.org. Watch this page for announcements
